ARCHIVED - Andalusia administered 602,000 vaccines during the last week
The region has now administered a total of 6,498,033 doses of the various covid-19 vaccines
The latest vaccination data released by the regional government of Andalusia on Saturday, June 19, reports that a total of 2,520 .571 Andalusians are fully vaccinated and 4,167,764 have received at least one dose.
This means that the region has administered 602,263 vaccines beween Sunday, June 13 to this Saturday, June 19, some 56,000 less than last week, when the current record (658,387) was set.
Minister of Health and Families of the Junta de Andalucía, Jesús Aguirre, announced on April 29 that he planned to dispense between 500,000 and 800,000 vaccines weekly from the end of May, so the region is currently remaining on plan.
The latest data brings the total population which is fully vacinated to 29.77% and the percentage of the population over 16 years of age which is fully vaccinated to 35.69%.
The region has now administered at least one dose to 59.01 per cent of the adult population over 16 years of age
The last data published by the national government was on Friday afternoon (June 18) and at that point 22.6 million people had received a first dose, accounting for 47.8 per cent of the population and 13.93 million people had been given two doses, accounting for 29.4 per cent of the total population of Spain.
