The girl was found unconscious inside her home in Sevilla, Andalusia
Firefighters in Ronda de la Oliva, Sevilla, rescued a 10-year-old schoolgirl from a house fire after finding her unconscious in one of the rooms.
The incident took place at around 3.35pm on Tuesday (July 27), when firefighters quickly rescued the girl from the flames, she was then resuscitated at the scene and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
A 60-year-old man, who also lived in the house, sustained mild injuries due to smoke inhalation.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire before the flames spread to other buildings, and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.

The Policía Nacional and the Policía Local in Sevilla also responded to the emergency.
Fires, in both buildings and forests, are becoming a frequent occurrence this summer, with several wildfires raging through Andalusia last weekend and a footwear factory being burnt almost to the ground in Elche on July 26.
