ARCHIVED - Cordoba Orchestra offer two free concerts on May 22 and May 26 in the Palacio de Viana
The concerts will take place in the romantic setting of the Patio de Columnas at the Palacio de Viana in Cordoba, Malaga.
As concerts are now beginning to open up again after Andalucia reduced its restrictions earlier this month, the Cordoba Orchestra will be performing two ‘Serenades in Viana’ concerts at the historic venue of the Palacio de Viana in May.
On Saturday, May 22 at 8.30 pm, the orchestra will perform Mozart’s Serenade for Winds in C Minor as well as the Petite Sinfonie by Charles Gounod.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, May 26 at 8.30 pm, the orchestra will perform the Serenade for Winds, op. 44 by Antonin Dvorak, as well as Haendel’s Music for Royal Fireworks.
The events, which have been organised in conjunction with Cordoba City Council and Cajasur, will be directed by the head of the Cordoba Orchestra, Carlos Dominguez-Nieto.
Tickets, which are free of charge, can be reserved at the Palacio de Viana website at www.palaciodeviana.com (click reservas)with a limited number of seats available and with all health restrictions in place.
