The 76-year-old woman was crossing the road in an area without a pedestrian crossing when she was hit by a car
A 76-year-old woman has been hospitalised this Sunday September 25 after being hit by a car in the city of Seville when she was crossing the road at a place without a pedestrian crossing.
It is not yet known what nationality the tourist was, but according to Emergencias Sevilla, the woman was hit by a car at 10.50am near the Glorieta Marineros Voluntarios roundabout as she was crossing the street in an area not specifically marked for pedestrians.
The accident required the intervention of the Local Police force and the 061 emergency services.
The woman, who has been hospitalised with a possible bone fracture, was visiting Seville as part of a cruise, most likely one that had docked at the nearby Muelle Delicias, where cruise ships regularly stop to let off passengers for day trips in the city.
