ARCHIVED - Mass vaccination of over 18s in Jaen: Friday July 30
Citizens born before 2003 from the North Jaén Health District, Andalucía, are eligible for one of the jabs
On Friday, July 30, Jaén is supplying 1,000 Pfizer vaccines for citizens born before 2003 at a mass vaccination centre in Linares, with no prior appointment needed.
Over 18s from the North Jaén Health district who have not yet received a vaccine can go to the San José de Linares sports centre from 8.15am to 2pm and from 4.30pm until 6.30pm to receive their first dose.
The municipalities included in this health district are: La Carolina; Andújar Carboneros; Guarrroman; Castellar; Linares; Bailen; Marmolejo; Castellar; Jabalquinto; Venta de los Santos; Estación Linares Baeza; Baños de la Encina; Navas de San Juan; Arquillos; Sorihuela del Guadalimar; Campillo del Río; Torreblascopedro; Villanueva de la Reina; Santisteban del Puerto; Vilches; Aldeaquemada; Aldeahermosa and Guadalen.
The objective is to give citizens of all ages, who haven’t yet been vaccinated for one reason or another, a chance to receive their first dose.
In Andalucía, Covid vaccine appointments are available for 16 and 17-year-olds from Thursday (July 29), and 18 and 19-year-olds have been able to make their appointments from Tuesday (July 27).
