ARCHIVED - Over 100 no-appointment vaccination centres open to the public in Andalusia
The Health Ministry in Andalucía is offering Covid jabs to residents and national tourists in all eight provinces
Although 82.1 per cent of the target population in Andalucía (over 12s) is now fully vaccinated and 88.7 per cent has had at least one Covid jab, the regional Health authorities have organised mass vaccination centres in all eight provinces, where no prior appointment is needed.
The government is aiming these appointment-free vaccines at both residents in Andalucía who haven’t had their jabs yet and tourists from other Spanish regions who are on holiday in Andalucía.
A complete list of vaccination centres, along with dates and opening hours, can be found on the regional website.
In total, over 12 million Covid vaccines have been administered in the region, but the Andalucian government is determined to vaccinate the remaining 17.9 per cent, hoping to prevent a sixth wave of coronavirus.
The region recently eased Covid restrictions in response to a decrease in Covid cases over the past few weeks.
