The works to Guadalcantara in San Pedro de Alcantara, Malaga, will cost around €30,000.
Marbella council has announced a series of works to improve public spaces in San Pedro de Alcantara.
The plans, which will be carried out in Guadalcantara, will include improvements to security for the residents living there.
According to the council, the works will be carried out on four streets and on an area of 300 square metres of gardens and will include pruning of 30 species of plants, as well improving lighting.
The works will also include improvements to the parking on popular Calle Mainake, and the council has employed a team of around 20 people, as well as the municipal company in charge of gardening, to carry out the upgrades.
The improvements have a budget of around €30,000 and are expected to take around three weeks to complete as part of a plan to improve public spaces on some of San Pedro de Alcantara’s busiest streets.
Marbella council is also currently pushing to bring tourists back to the municipality, offering Restaurant Weeks in Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantara in June.
