ARCHIVED - Second caravan fire this month in the Region of Murcia
A mobile home in Las Torres de Cotillas, Murcia, was completely destroyed in the blaze
Firefighters were called to a campsite in the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas, located slightly north of the capital city, after a mobile home caught fire on Wednesday morning, October 20.
Firefighters from the Consortium of Fire Extinction and Rescue in the Region of Murcia (CEIS) were unable to save the caravan, which was reduced to badly charred remains, but they were able to get the fire under control before the flames spread to three other nearby caravans.
Los @BomberosCEIS_RM han apagado esta mañana el incendio de una caravana en #LasTorresdeCotillas. No han podido evitar que ardiera por completo, pero sí que afectara otras tres caravanas próximas.

This is the second caravan fire in the Region this month following a devastating fire at Villas Caravanning de La Manga at the beginning of October, though thankfully this incident was not nearly as destructive as the first.
