The trip of a lifetime: Murcia retirees enjoy organised visit to beautiful Granada
Residents from the Murcia retirement home Caser Residencial Santo Ángel took an exciting journey to Granada
A group of elderly residents from the Caser Residencial Santo Ángel nursing home have had an unforgettable experience when they went on an organised trip Granada recently.
From the enchanting Perfume Museum to the imposing Palacio de la Real Chancillería palace, the intrepid adventurers explored the wonders of the city. They visited the majestic Granada Cathedral and immersed themselves in the richness of the Mercado de Artesanía market.
They strolled along the Paseo de los Tristes, with its unparalleled views of the Alhambra, and were thrilled to be treated to a flamenco show in the authentic Cueva de los Tarantos in Sacromonte.
Granada’s famous Alhambra left them speechless, and a ride on the tourist train took them to the impressive Mirador San Nicolas.
Caser Residencial Santo Ángel centre in Murcia city regularly organises day trips for its residents and users, including those from the International Unit, which specialises in the care of foreign citizens in Spain thanks to the inclusion of international food, press, television and activities.
