After a windy weekend along the coast, Andalusia can expect rising heat over the next few days, with storms still possible in the mountains

Average temperatures expected on Wednesday June 17
After a windy weekend along the coast, Andalucía is set for a steady rise in temperatures over the next few days. Storms remain possible in the Betic mountain ranges and Sierra Morena, particularly in the afternoons, but for the most part the community will be heading towards a much warmer end to the week.
Monday June 15

Skies will be partly cloudy, becoming overcast as the day goes on, with showers possible in the Betic mountain ranges and Sierra Morena during the afternoon, occasionally turning stormy. Low cloud will linger over the Atlantic slope in the morning.
Minimum temperatures will be slightly lower or stay about the same, while maximums will rise along the Málaga coast and across the west, with a more noticeable jump inland in Huelva and the Guadalhorce Valley.
Winds will be light and variable, with moderate westerly gusts along the Mediterranean coast. Córdoba will see one of the highest temperatures of the day at 35°C.
Tuesday June 16

Cloud will build over the mountains as the day progresses, bringing the chance of showers and thunderstorms, while low cloud returns to the Atlantic coast in the morning. Elsewhere it'll stay partly cloudy.
Temperatures will rise pretty much everywhere, with the exception of the Mediterranean coast, where maximums could dip slightly in places. Winds will be light and variable, turning easterly along the Mediterranean coast. Córdoba will be the standout once again, climbing to 38°C, with Seville not far behind at 37°C.
Wednesday June 17

Expect mostly clear or sunny conditions, with cloud building over the mountains during the day and the possibility of occasional showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will rise along the Atlantic coast, with little change elsewhere.
Winds will stay light and variable, with moderate easterly winds expected in the Strait of Gibraltar and along the eastern Mediterranean coast. Córdoba looks set to push close to 39°C, making it one of the hottest spots in the country.
