Andalucía weekly weather forecast May 4-7: Mostly dry, warmer and brighter
A settled spell with sunshine returning, a few clouds inland and breezier coasts
After the more changeable weather of the past few days, Andalucía turns back to a more settled pattern this week, with plenty of sunshine, rising temperatures and only a few light showers inland at times. The coast should stay brightest for longest, while cloud will build a little over the mountains during the middle of the week.Monday May 4
Andalucía weather forecast, Monday May 4Monday starts partly cloudy inland, with cloud thickening through the day and a small chance of occasional light rain, although in the west, around Huelva, the sunshine holds. Coastal areas stay mostly clear, and Málaga will be the warmest spot at 29°C. Temperatures dip a little overnight, while daytime values hold steady or ease back slightly, and westerly winds blow light to moderate inland, becoming fresher along the coast with strong gusts on the Mediterranean side.
Tuesday May 5
Tuesday brings mostly clear or sunny skies, although cloud will start to build over the mountains later in the day. Minimum temperatures fall again, but maximums stay broadly similar, keeping it pleasantly warm. Westerly winds continue, light to moderate inland and moderate along the coast, with strong gusts still likely on the Mediterranean shore, including around Tarifa and Almería.
Wednesday May 6
Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday May 6Wednesday turns a little more variable, with partly cloudy skies and more cloud developing over the hills. A few light showers are possible in the eastern mountains, around Granada and Jaen, while the Mediterranean coast becomes cloudier later on. Temperatures are little changed overnight, but daytime values rise on the Atlantic side and ease a little or hold steady elsewhere. Seville will be the hottest spot at 27°C, while light and variable winds keep things fairly calm inland.
Thursday May 7
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday May 7Thursday stays fairly mixed, with partly cloudy skies and plenty of mid and high cloud, especially in the eastern half where a little light rain cannot be ruled out. Minimum temperatures rise there, while elsewhere they change very little, and daytime highs are either steady or a touch lower. Most areas sit between 22°C and 26°C, although Cádiz remains cooler at around 20°C. Winds stay light to moderate and variable in direction.
The week looks set to finish on a mild note, with more sunshine than rain and a fairly springlike feel across Andalucía.
