Andalucía weekly weather forecast May 5-8: Spring showers linger with brighter spells ahead
A few spots of rain around but plenty of dry weather too as temperatures hold steady
After a slightly unsettled start to the month with some showers, storms and Saharan dust making an appearance, the first full week of May in Andalucía continues the springtime shuffle between sun and rain. It will not be a washout by any means, with drier conditions expected along the coast and a few showers inland. Winds will pick up at times, particularly along the coast, but overall it is a fairly typical early May pattern.Monday May 5
Andalucía weather forecast, Monday May 5Cloudy skies are expected throughout the day, with the chance of light, on-and-off rain in many areas. Showers are more likely to reach the Baetic mountain ranges, so places like Granada and Jaén could see some damp spells. However the Mediterranean coast, including Málaga and Almería, should stay mostly dry. Westerly winds will be breezy in coastal areas and lighter further inland. Temperatures will see little change compared to the weekend.

Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday May 6It should feel a little brighter on Tuesday, particularly along the coastlines of Huelva and Málaga, where skies will be partly sunny. Inland areas, including Córdoba and Seville, may see some cloud building up in the afternoon, especially near the mountains. There’s still a slight chance of a passing shower in the northeast, but it will mostly stay dry. Westerly winds continue, light inland and picking up a bit along the coast. Daytime temperatures will rise a little in the interior.

Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday May 7A mix of medium and high cloud is likely on Wednesday, with some low cloud cover lingering near coastal spots like Almería. Light rain is possible here and there, but most places, including Cádiz and Córdoba, should stay dry. Temperatures might dip a little along the Mediterranean but hold steady elsewhere. Winds will be variable and generally light.

Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday May 8Skies will be partly cloudy again, and the chance of light showers remains in the forecast, particularly in central areas. Seville and Jaén might see some patchy rain, while most of the coast, including Málaga and Tarifa, should stay dry. Winds will be light and variable, turning more westerly or south-westerly later in the day.
