Andalucía weekly weather forecast August 4-7: Hot, sunny and windy near the coast
Clear skies and rising temperatures, with gusty winds around the Strait and inland heat continuing
Andalucía is set for another spell of classic summer weather this week, with plenty of sunshine, little to no rain, and high temperatures across the board. Inland areas will feel the heat most, while strong easterly winds will make conditions more blustery along the coast. There’ll be the odd patch of cloud in the afternoons over the mountains, but nothing to spoil the sunshine.
Monday August 4

It’s a bright start to the week with clear skies across the region. Some light cloud could build over the eastern sierras later in the day, but it’ll stay dry. Temperatures remain high, especially inland, with Córdoba and Jaén pushing into the high 30s. Along the coast, particularly around Tarifa and the Strait, expect strong easterly gusts. The breeze will be lighter but still noticeable further inland.
Tuesday August 5

The sunshine continues into Tuesday with very little change. Clear skies dominate again, with a few clouds forming over the mountains in the afternoon. It will be another scorcher, especially around Seville and Granada, where daytime highs remain well above average. Winds pick up again near Cádiz and Almería, reaching strong levels in exposed areas. Elsewhere, expect lighter, variable winds.
Wednesday August 6

Conditions remain stable with mostly sunny skies and just a few streaks of high cloud drifting across parts of Huelva and Granada. There’s no rain on the cards, and temperatures will stay put or climb slightly. It will feel particularly hot in places like Málaga, while the Levante wind keeps blowing strongly in coastal areas, especially through the Strait.
Thursday August 7
Andalucía temperatures, Thursday August 7
Thursday brings more sunshine with some intervals of medium and high cloud, especially over the mountains around Almería. There’s a very slim chance of a passing shower, but most areas will stay dry and warm. Temperatures creep up again, particularly inland. Winds stay moderate to strong along the Mediterranean coast and through the Strait, while elsewhere they’ll be light and variable.
Looking ahead, there is no sign of cooler weather just yet, with the heat expected to stick around into the weekend. If you're near the coast, the breeze may offer some relief, but inland towns will continue to sizzle.
