After a hot and sunny spell, Andalucía kicks off the new week with mostly settled conditions. There’s plenty of sunshine on the way across the region and some areas may see cooler daytime temperatures with a touch of cloud as the week goes on.

 

By Thursday, there’s a chance of a few scattered showers in the east, especially along the Mediterranean coast, but for the most part, it’ll still feel very summery.

 

 

On Monday, the skies will be clear across the board. Daytime temperatures won’t shift too much from the weekend, although coastal areas like Cádiz might feel a little breeze picking up later on. Inland cities such as Córdoba can still expect highs upto 36-37ºC, while westerly winds will stay light to moderate, especially along the coast.

 

 

Tuesday brings a mix of sunshine and patchy morning cloud along the Mediterranean coast, particularly near Málaga. Maximum temperatures will drop a touch on the coastal side but may creep upwards inland, especially around Jaén and Granada. Winds will remain fairly gentle, with a light westerly flow across most areas.

 

 

Moving into Wednesday, the weather stays dry but with a little more cloud around. The Mediterranean coast, including Almería, could wake up to some low cloud cover, while elsewhere skies will be partly sunny with a few wisps of high cloud. Temperatures will rise slightly on the coast but remain steady inland. Expect light and variable breezes across the region.

 

 

By Thursday, conditions start to turn a bit more unsettled along the Mediterranean side. Places like Tarifa and Almería could see cloudy skies and even the odd shower, particularly in the far eastern corner, where thunder isn’t out of the question. Elsewhere, including around Huelva and Seville, it’ll stay mostly fine with just a few passing clouds. Winds will pick up slightly along the coast, with moderate easterlies expected and the chance of stronger gusts near the Strait.

 

 

Looking ahead, the week promises plenty of sunshine, just the odd cloud here and there, and some welcome sea breezes to keep things comfortable – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee on the terrace or an evening stroll.
