Andalusia weather forecast July 24-30: Heat eases off but the sun sticks around
It will still be a toasty week by anyone’s standards, but the heatwave conditions are gone for now
Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday July 25
This autonomous community of Andalucía in the south of Spain is forecast to have a relatively ‘cool’ start to the week as maximum temperatures during the day will NOT exceed 40ºC in Cordoba and Seville until Saturday July 29.
The region has suffered searing heat of up to 46ºC in recent weeks, but that looks to be over… for now.
Night-time temperatures will still be around 20ºC for most people, but will dip a couple of degrees below that in enough places to make it feel like a cooler week, comparatively speaking. On the coasts of Malaga, Cadiz, Granada and Almeria maximum daytime temperatures will hover around the high-20s to low-30s, and will not break into the high-30s region in earnest until next weekend.

The possibility of rain on Monday July 24 in Granada’s Sierra Nevada mountain peaks notwithstanding, it will be a gloriously sunny week in Andalucía, broken up by perhaps some gentle cloud cover floating in from the east on Thursday 27 and Friday 28.

The wind, however, will be a different story. While the tail-end of the week will be calm and still, Monday and Tuesday will bring strong winds on the coast of Cadiz, near Gibraltar, and in Almeria and the Cabo de Gata, near to the Region of Murcia. Yellow weather alerts have even been issued for Monday along this stretch of coastline for winds of 50-60kmh and waves of 2-3 metres in height.
