Andalusia weekly weather forecast June 24-30: The heat is on
Some rain is forecast midweek, but also very high temperatures at times
There will be more frequent sunny spells in Andalucía this week, with occasionally very hot periods in some places, but there will also be plenty of cloud cover and even some rain.
For Monday June 24, the weather will be dry and sunny, with high temperatures. It will be a windy day in Cádiz, with windspeeds getting up to 35-40kmh. In Seville and the countryside around Córdoba between 1pm and 9pm this Monday, they are on yellow alert issued by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for very high temperatures that could reach up to 39ºC.
Andalucía weather warnings, Monday June 24
Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 bring bright and warm conditions for everybody, with temperatures still reaching up past 30ºC during the day in most parts, and up to 37ºC in parts of Córdoba, while night-time temperatures range between 15 and 20ºC.
From Thursday 27, temperatures begin to drop ever so slightly and, while most of the region will have sunshine and scattered cloud cover, in Huelva and the western parts of the provinces of Seville and Cádiz there is a chance of some light rainfall in the first half of the day.
In addition, another episode of ‘calima’ or Saharan dust suspended in the air is forecast to descend on southern Spain this Thursday, and in places where it mixes with the rain it will bring muddy deposits.
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday June 27
The forecast for Friday 28 and going into the weekend to finish off the month of June is for marginally cooler days, though still with plenty of sunshine. Both Friday and Saturday 29 will be somewhat windy on the coast of Almería, with windspeeds up to 30kmh, but at least it won’t be so searingly hot as maximums only reach up to 30-31ºC.

- Saturday June 29: Min 11ºC; Max 30ºC
- Sunday June 30: Min 11ºC; Max 31ºC
