It will continue to be warm in the south of Spain this week, even as dark clouds and rain blow in as the week goes on and other parts of Spain experience falling temperatures.
Monday October 9 will be dry and sunny across the region of Andalucía, with the exception of the Costa del Sol, where it will be raining in Benalmádena, Málaga and Marbella in the morning. Meanwhile, the coast of Cádiz around the Strait of Gibraltar will be on yellow alert for high winds of 50-61 kmh.

Tuesday 10 will also be very cloudy for Málaga, while the rest of Andalucía gets more glorious sunshine, and on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 these warm and sunny conditions continue for every province.
In fact, on Thursday and Friday there could be highs of up to 34ºC in Andalucía, in the usual heat traps of Córdoba and Seville.

On the afternoon of Friday October 13, though, the cloud cover will begin to sweep in from the west, from northern Spain and Portugal down through Huelva province and the rest of Andalucía, to cover the region on Saturday 14.

On Saturday afternoon, while it will be very overcast everywhere, it is only the high-altitude places such as the Sierra Nevada in Granada that will receive rain.
