ARCHIVED - April 21-23 Granada will overflow with food and drink during its annual Beer Festival
Granada will once again host the largest craft beer fair in all of Andalucía

Andalucía’s largest beer fair will take to the streets of Granada this weekend, celebrating the unbeatable taste of 150 of the world’s best brews produced by no fewer than 37 Spanish and international companies. The craft beer festival will flow through the streets of La Zubia between Friday April 21 and Sunday April 23.
This world-famous event will bring together beers of a wide variety of styles for all tastes, such as hoppy IPAs, mild lagers, fruit-fermented sours, barrel-aged, non-alcoholic and gluten-free craft beers.
As an added treat, all of the beverages will be served in crystal glasses, specially designed to enhance the flavour of craft beer, and connoisseurs will also be able to sample a smaller tasting measure at a lower price.
Those in need of a bit of soakage won’t be disappointed either, as the fair will play host to 13 street food stalls, complete with a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, and of course, La Zubia itself has a huge variety of bars and restaurants to tantalise the taste buds.
There’s also plenty of entertainment for the kiddies, with bouncy castles, a Viking re-enactment and a plethora of family activities planned throughout the three-day festival.
If that wasn’t enough, the organisers have scheduled dance master classes and several live music concerts over the weekend featuring chart toppers like DJ Luna y K'yena, Juan popp DJ, Rodríguez Celtic Band and El Niño del Albaycín and Alfonso Torres DJ.
Thousands of visitors are expected to flock to La Zubia for the fair and to show off the region’s rich culture and heritage, many guided tours and natural routes have been highlighted.
This is the seventh edition of the Granada Beer Festival and over the course of its tenure, more than 35,000 guests have enjoyed the celebrations; in addition, the fair has welcomed 112 breweries from 10 countries and 34 companies from the beverage sector.
