ARCHIVED - Violent clashes between German and English football ultras in Seville caught on video
West Ham fans violently clash with Eintracht Frankfurt ultras in the Andalucía city
The centre of Sevilla descended into chaos on Wednesday night, March 9, when West Ham fans violently clashed with Eintracht Frankfurt ultras ahead of a Europe League match.
Frankfurt had defeated Real Betis 2-1 earlier that evening and hundreds of West Ham supporters had already flocked to the Andalucía city ahead of the match with the Sevilla team on Thursday. UEFA actually brought the Betis game forward by a day in an attempt to avoid any trouble, but shocking footage has emerged of brutal fighting between German and English football fans in the city centre.

Witnesses reported seeing Frankfurt ultras forming a large coordinated group before confronting the West Ham supporters, and videos show the scene quickly turning violent as bottles were thrown and fans carrying huge wooden sticks attacked.
One video shows tables and chairs being thrown outside the Irish bar before the Sevilla Police stepped in, and people behind the camera can clearly be heard shouting: “Come on West Ham.”
