August 17-24 Experience the magic of Feria de Málaga
Music, fireworks, markets and more on the Costa del Sol
Málaga Fair, or Feria de Málaga, is back this summer and promises to be bigger and better than ever. From August 17 to 24, the sunny Costa del Sol will transform into a whirlwind of excitement, colour and cultural delights. It's a week-long celebration that you won't want to miss.
Located in the Real del Cortijo de Torres, the Málaga Fair kicks off with a bang on Saturday August 17, and continues for eight days of non-stop fun. With the traditional ‘chupinazo’ opening speech delivered by none other than the beloved singer Juan Gómez, aka El Kanka, the stage is set for an unforgettable week.
But the excitement begins even earlier, with a mesmerising drone show illuminating the port on the evening of the 16th, followed by a dazzling fireworks display at midnight to signal the start of the festivities. And let's not forget the traditional Pilgrimage to the Basilica Sanctuary of Santa María de la Victoria on the morning of August 17.
The Feria de Málaga is synonymous with music and dance, and this year's line-up does not disappoint. Get ready to move and groove to the beats of Carlos Baute, Butterfly Effects, Chenoa and Marta Peláe, performing at the Municipal Auditorium on various dates throughout the week.
If flamenco is your passion, you're in luck. Immerse yourself in the soulful rhythms and passionate performances at the Municipal Caseta del Flamenco y la Copla and various stands throughout the fair, including the renowned Juan Breva club.
And for equestrian enthusiasts, there will be two captivating shows every day at the equestrian exhibition centre.
With eight days of festivities, the Málaga Fair offers something for everyone. Indulge in delicious local cuisine, explore the vibrant clubs and stands and embrace the unique atmosphere that makes this fair so special.
