ARCHIVED - Below freezing temperatures as we move into December: Andalusia weather forecast Nov 28-Dec 4
While the week will start out sunny, there will be severe thunderstorms next weekend in Andalusia
As December begins in Spain’s autonomous community of Andalusia, there is some hope that the reservoirs, which still have less water than they normally do for this time of year, will finally be able to claw back some of that water reserve thanks to heavy rains expected this week, especially at the weekend.
Monday November 28 and Tuesday 29 will be sunny across the whole region, though temperatures will be noticeably cooler, with minimums at night-time as low as -1ºC in some places and daytime temperatures at the height of the afternoon not surpassing 20ºC anywhere, not even on the Costa del Sol or in Seville.

By Wednesday afternoon, Andalusia will get heavy rain sweeping across from the Atlantic in the west. Almeria province in the east will stay dry, but only until Thursday, the first day of December, when they will also get wet.
Andalusia weather forecast, Wednesday November 30
By Thursday afternoon, the rain will begin to clear up and it will be a dry night, if especially cold in some areas, but the truce will last less than 24 hours. Friday night signals the beginning of a very rainy weekend all round, and there are thunderstorms forecast across parts of Cadiz, Malaga and Cordoba on Sunday December 4.
Let’s hope it continues like that and finally manages to refill the water reserves somewhat!
