Cycling tours in and around Caravaca for all the family
A brilliant healthy way to discover the city and surroundings of Caravaca
One of the most enjoyable, healthiest and most environmentally-friendly ways to explore any location is on the saddle of your bike, and these guided excursions in the holy city of Caravaca de la Cruz offer a chance to do just that!
Guided excursions can be contracted every day starting in the iconic Plaza del Arco, in the historic city centre, and heading out of town to see some of the nicest countryside nearby. At the same time you’ll learn about the history of Caravaca and your group leader will regale you with plenty of fascinating titbits!
The stop-offs include the gorgeous Fuentes del Marqués beauty spot and a section of the “Camino de Levante” pilgrimage route, which was followed by thousands in 2024 as they made their way on foot or by bike to the city of Caravaca during the 7-yearly Holy Jubilee Year.
The route followed is only 14 kilometres but with plenty of stops along the way it usually takes approximately 2 and a half hours, meaning there’s no problem with slower or younger riders annoying those with more pedal power in their thighs.
Minimum group size is 10 people, so get a group of friends and their children together and enjoy a great morning out in the rural north-west of Murcia!
The route begins at 10.00 and the cost per adult is 21.85 euros (children under 7 free of charge).
Bicycles can also be hired from 26 euros.
Bookings can be finalized online here.
