Day care centre for the Disabled, Cañada de Praes (Pilar de la Horadada)

This facility offers services for those with limited mobility and disability

Located in the Centro Social Gregorio Ortiz in Cañada de Praes, just a couple of kilometers outside Pilar de la Horadada on the CV-925 road to Orihuela, this new facility (opening 7th January 2014) offers day care for those of limited mobility resident in the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada.

Among the activities provided for those inscribed here are two employment workshops and one cognitive workshop, and occupational therapy, transport, lunch and offsite visits are also offered. The centre has the capacity to cater for thirty users, each of whom is required to pay just 180 euros per month.

To get to the Centro Social Gregorio Ortiz, follow the CV-925 out of Pilar de la Horadada towards Orihuela, and turn left after a couple of kilometers twords the small residential area of Cañada de Praes, before the industrial estate on the right. Then take another left turn almost immediately, onto Calle Semilleros, where the centre is easily visible.
