Driving in Murcia this Wednesday? These are the tractor protests to look out for
The traffic in the Region will all tend to head towards Murcia city
This Wednesday February 21 is the big day of strikes organised by the agricultural organisations COAG, UPA and ASAJA in Murcia to protest against conditions for Spanish and European farmers regarding trade regulations, the use of pesticides and more.
Around the Region of Murcia, they are planning widespread disruption by causing huge traffic jams on the motorways again. Their plan is to converge on the regional capital, as they did on February 6, where farmers on foot will give out fruit and vegetables to people standing around at the gates of the headquarters of the Central Government Delegation, on Avenida del Teniente Flomesta, from 11am and in the area around the Jardín Chino at around 12 noon.
