EasyJet is adding a new direct connection between Corvera Airport and Liverpool next summer, giving passengers another option for travelling between the Region of Murcia and the UK.

 

The new route will begin on March 29, 2027, with flights operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays throughout the summer season.

 

The Liverpool service is part of a wider expansion by easyJet in Spain, with the airline putting a number of new routes for the 2027 summer season on sale.

 

Among the other additions is the airline's first-ever operation from Girona, where it will launch direct services to Liverpool and London Gatwick. The Girona-Liverpool route starts on March 28 with flights on Wednesdays and Sundays, while the Girona-Gatwick service begins on June 3, initially operating on Thursdays and Sundays with additional Tuesday flights during the peak season.

 

Barcelona is also gaining a new connection with Aberdeen, starting on March 31 with flights twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

 

The Scottish city will in turn gain another link with Spain when easyJet launches a new route to Palma de Mallorca on May 3. The service will operate twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

 

Further UK connections are being added from northern Spain, with a new Bilbao to Edinburgh service beginning on March 30. Flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

 

In Andalucia, easyJet is also expanding its network from Málaga with a new route to Biarritz in southwestern France. The service starts on May 7 with flights twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

 

The airline's Managing Director for Southern Europe and Global Director of Public Policy, Javier Gándara, said the new routes form part of easyJet's continued expansion in Spain and are designed to give passengers more direct travel options.
