EasyJet flight to Tenerife diverted after passenger pees in the aisle
Birmingham flight given landing priority as crew request police support for aggressive passenger

Flight EZY6607 was heading to Tenerife South Airport on what should have been a routine trip. However, things took a turn when one of the passengers allegedly urinated in the aisle, causing a disturbance among crew and fellow travellers.
Cabin crew contacted air traffic control during the flight to report the incident and request police and medical assistance upon landing. As a result, the aircraft was given priority for landing to allow it to reach the airport as swiftly as possible.
Police and emergency medical teams were waiting on the tarmac when the flight touched down. Coordination with ground staff ensured that the authorities were ready to intervene immediately after arrival.
The details of the passenger’s condition or any potential charges following the incident have not been confirmed. However, local media described the person’s behaviour as both aggressive and highly disruptive.
It was reported that, “The crew alerted authorities mid-flight about a passenger causing significant disturbance, prompting them to request police presence and medical support upon landing.” The newspaper also reported that air traffic control expedited the aircraft’s approach to the airport.
Although disruptive passengers are unfortunately not unheard of on flights to popular holiday destinations, mid-air incidents that lead to emergency landings thankfully remain rare.
