Due to the size of the animal and the difficult location, a crane had to be used to extract the trapped horse and a video of the complicated rescue has since been shared on social media.
According to Emergencias Sevilla, the horse was thankfully uninjured and the Zoosanitario centre in Sevilla are housing the horse until the authorities can track down its owner.
