June 19 Royal Ascot Ladies' Day at Bridie Murphy's, Camposol
Let’s all go to the races!
This Thursday June 19, Bridie Murphy’s Irish bar on the Camposol urbanisation is hosting a Royal Ascot Gold Cup Ladies’ Day event to raise money for the charity organisation Friends Of Mazarrón Animals.It costs €15 per person to take part, and the price of entrance includes cream teas, bubbles, a prize for the best hat and a musical interlude with Byron Sax.
Doors open from 1pm, and there is also a fun €1 race sweep that you can take part in. Tickets are available in advance from Joanne Hipkiss or from the bar itself, which is located on Calle Jara on Camposol Sector B.
All funds raised go towards a good cause, so get your glad rags on and get yourself to the races this Thursday!

Friends of Mazarrón Animals help to rehome unwanted and abandoned animals in the Mazarrón area.
The primary aim of the association FMA is to help unwanted and abandoned animals in the Mazarrón area. They are a non-profit making association, run by volunteers, whose main aim is to re-home animals - many are sent abroad through their work with other charities. They have no kennels so the money they receive goes towards veterinary care costs as well as the costs of re-homing. They rely on donations and funding and run many events to raise funds.
