ARCHIVED - Malaga Pompidou Centre: Julio Gonzalez until October 17
The Centre Pompidou Málaga also offers an eclectic permanent exhibition in Málaga, Andalusía
From May 27 to October 17 the Center Pompidou Málaga offers a temporary exhibition by Catalan artist 'Julio González', taking visitors on a journey through his life and main works.
The exhibition, curated by Brigitte Leal, deputy director of the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris, reviews in more than fifty artistic pieces (33 drawings and 18 sculptures) the first works made by Julio González (Barcelona, 1876; Arcueil, 1942) in Paris, passing through the forged metalwork that occupied much of his artistic production in the 1930s until his last self-portraits. This exhibition is brought to Málaga in collaboration with the “la Caixa” Foundation.
