May 11 Arx Asdrúbalis Night Run in Cartagena
A non-competitive walk and a children’s race are also being held as Cartagena Carthagineses y Romanos fiesta groups hold this charity event
The 6th edition of the popular Arx Asdrúbalis Night Run, which is held by the Carthaginian and Roman groups who take part in the annual September fiestas of Cartagena, is expected to attract over 1,350 athletes of all ages and levels on Saturday May 11, with the main 10-kiometre race beginning in the Plaza San Francisco at 21.00.
Earlier in the evening, at 20.00, the “Jóvenes Guerreros” (Young Warriors) race takes place over a distance of two kilometres, while a non-competitive walk is being held at 10.00 in the morning.
Registration for both the hike and the main race costs 14 euros while for the juniors’ event is is just 4 euros, and is available for all categories online here. All proceeds are donated to the charity organizations Banco de Alimentos, Maestros Mundi and Ambulancia del Deseo.
