Monument to Águilas Carnival: Icarus

El Ícaro is the work of sculptor González Beltrán

This monument can be viewed on the seafront close to the fishing port of Águilas and is the work of Murcia sculptor González Beltrán. The statue is a homage to the most important fiesta in Águilas, its spring Carnival, which was awarded the status of “International Tourist attraction” in 2015 and continues to draw thousands of visitors every year.
