After a bright start to September, Murcia is in for a classic late summer weekend with plenty of warm sunshine, a touch of cloud at times, and a general rise in temperatures. Most days should feel pleasantly warm for both coast and inland areas, with no rain expected.

 

Skies are expected to be mostly clear during the morning throughout the region. In the afternoon, some high cloud will make an appearance, especially inland, while temperatures should feel a touch warmer away from the coast. Winds will remain light, developing a southerly trend and occasionally strengthening in more exposed spots.

The day is set to get underway with low clouds and some mist, mainly for inland towns. Coastal areas remain mild, but further inland, maximum temperatures may ease slightly. Later in the day, an easterly breeze is set to develop, particularly noticeable near the shoreline.

 

Conditions are likely to start off a little cloudy, with morning mist in several locations. As the day goes on, brighter skies should emerge, although high cloud and a little dust may linger into the afternoon, lending a hazy quality to the air. Temperatures generally move up a notch, and winds will pick up from the east along the coast.

Cloudy spells look likely in the morning, thanks to layers of mid and high-level cloud, but clearer weather should spread from the west as the afternoon progresses. The trend for warmer conditions continues, and gentle, variable breezes should make for a comfortable end to the weekend.

 

All in all, Murcia can expect warm, dry and mostly settled weather - just right for early September plans outdoors or on the beach.
