New bus route from Andalucia to Paris arrives this June
Passengers will be able to travel from Almería to the French capital for less than 50 euros
Those itching for adventure with have the French capital at their fingertips from June 27, when FlixBus launches a new bus route between Almería and Paris, with tickets on sale for as little as 43.99 euros each way.
The renowned travel company is expanding its horizons with this exciting new line. In just over 26 hours, passengers can go from soaking up the sunny shores of Almería to strolling along the Seine, all without breaking the bank.
But it's not just about the destination; it's the journey that makes this unique coach trip special. The new route winds through charming French towns like Biarritz, Bordeaux and Tours, offering a glimpse of the stunning countryside along the way.
FlixBus promises that passengers will travel in style and comfort aboard its state-of-the-art coaches, decked out with free Wi-Fi, mobile phone and laptop chargers, extra leg-room and plenty of bathrooms.
“We are very happy to connect Almería to our international network and do so with a direct line to such an important European capital as Paris. We are going to operate this new line together with Andalusian partners, therefore helping the economy and promoting the sustainability of the region,” explained Pablo Pastega, general director of the company for Spain and Portugal.
But there is a small catch. While this line does make stops in other Spanish cities, tickets are only available for travel between countries. In their press release, FlixBus has criticised this shortfall, attributing it to “a failure by the Government to comply with European regulations”, since “these buses cannot be used to transport passengers between Spanish cities.”
Because of these limitations, passengers are missing out on direct connections within Spain, like trips from Almería to Pamplona or Zaragoza. Furthermore, in an ideal world, this route could have become part of the upcoming link between Málaga and the Algarve.
