ARCHIVED - No plans to tighten Covid restrictions in Andalusia at the moment
The regional commission will meet on Wednesday to discuss the measures currently introduced
Despite the fact that incident rates are on the up and a fourth wave of coronavirus is looking unavoidable, Andalusia isn’t planning to tighten restrictions, for the time being, regional government president Juanma Moreno has said.
The final decision will be down to the region’s ‘committee of experts’, who meet on Wednesday (7 April) to discuss the situation.
The current region-specific restrictions (no movement between provinces or regions, curfew between 11 pm and 6 am) remain in place until Friday, and Moreno hopes that they have been effective enough to avoid a need for further limitations on movement or timetables.
