November 15 to 23 Fiestas del Milagro Tapas Route in Bolnuevo As has become the custom in recent years, the seaside village of Bolnuevo is holding a tapas route to coincide with the annual Fiestas del Milagro, in which the town of Mazarrón celebrates the “miracle” by which it was saved from Berber raiders in the 16^th century.

November 15 to 23 Fiestas del Milagro Tapas Route in Bolnuevo The fiestas are based in Bolnuevo, where the miracle allegedly took place, and culminate this year on 23^rd November with “Sardine Sunday”, a mass sardine barbecue on the main beach in the village: click here for the full programme.

At the bars and restaurants affiliated to the tapas route the price of the snack and a drink is fixed at 3.50 euros, and of course you can vote for your favourite once you have tried as many as you feel like.
