ARCHIVED - Rain and storms throughout Andalusia: September 20-24
The rainy weather is expected to move from the east of Andalucía to the west from Monday
The forecast in the region of Andalucía mirrors the ones in both the Region of Murcia and the Comunidad Valenciana, with rain expected to start on Monday September 20 and continue throughout the week.
Rain clouds are expected to reach the easternmost province of Almería on Monday evening and the wet weather will travel west from there, with storms and rain expected in almost all of the Andalucía region on Tuesday September 21.
Aemet, the state meteorological agency has issued yellow warnings for rain and storms on Tuesday, which will be in effect in Almeria, Córdoba and Sevilla.
The intense rain will continue on both Wednesday September 22 and Thursday September 23, with the most rainfall expected in inland areas of the region. By Friday September 24, the downpour should have stopped in most of Andalucía, although cloudy skies are still forecast.
