Show your Murcia regional pride and play the Águilas card game!
You can now play ‘Acho, veo dobble’, the card game that features the Murcia town of Águilas

Ah, there’s nothing quite so fun and retro as sitting out on the terrace on a summer’s evening playing a good, old-fashioned card game or board game.
Now, game enthusiasts have a chance to play the famous card game Dobble with a twist – it’s all based around the Murcia town of Águilas!
Dobble, for those who don’t know, is a card game in which the aim is to find matching symbols or objects on another card in play.
The makers bill it as “a fun and clever game for all the family that’s easy to transport so you can play anytime, anywhere” and claim you can “learn to play in 30 seconds”.
It is essentially a matching game of speed and observation. Anyone who likes Snap or those games where you have to find hidden items will probably be good at Dobble.
Now, Dobble has its Águilas-based version called ‘Acho, veo dobble’ (‘Acho, I see double’). The project has been developed by Julieta de Leo and Santiago Labartete and illustrated by the local Águilas artist Irina Cazorla.
This fun ‘souvenir of Águilas’, as the local Town Hall have called it, was officially presented by the councillors for Tourism and Youth, José Antonio Consentino and Elena Casado, and can be purchased at various establishments around the town, including La Ola Art Gallery, Don Dino toy shop, Mar del Coral and D'12 Gourmet.
In addition, the Town Hall has distributed free several packs of the game to local youth associations and summer schools so that children can have a chance to play.
