Southern Spain welcomes February with 20-degree heat: Andalusia weather forecast Jan 30-Feb 5
Temperatures will once again rise in the south of Spain this week, with the Costa de Almeria reaching 20ºC/68ºF this Sunday
The weather in Andalusia is forecast to take a turn for the warmer across the course of this week, a welcome change of affairs for many after the chilly conditions experienced for the last few weeks.
The first couple of days of this week, Monday January 30 and Tuesday 31, will still be chilly and there will be some localised thunderstorms and rain near Barbate and Algeciras in the province of Cadiz, near Gibraltar.

But as we wave goodbye to January and welcome in February, the temperatures across the board will start to take an unseasonable turn for the warmer and there is nothing but sunshine and some light cloud cover forecast for the whole Autonomous Community for the rest of the week, with the exception of some light rain on Thursday February 2 and Friday 3 in Cadiz’s La Línea de la Concepción.
Night-time temperatures will begin to rise and by the end of the week there will barely be anywhere in the region experiencing sub-zero temperatures, apart from the Sierra Nevada mountains and ski slopes in Granada.
Meanwhile, maximum temperatures during the day will rise to the high teens and even as high as 20ºC on the coastline of Almeria, the Costa del Sol and in the warm provincial capital cities of Seville and Cordoba on Sunday February 5.

It remains to be seen if this sunny spell and the rise in temperatures will continue across the month of February or whether it will once again become colder as normally befits this time of year.

- Saturday February 4: Min 0ºC; Max 20ºC
- Sunday February 5: Min 1ºC; Max 20ºC
