Storms and sunshine this weekend in Alicante: weather forecast July 20-23

The weekend weather forecast for Alicante is for some significant episodes of rainfall – good news for the palm trees which have been toppling over due to lack of water – but it will still feel hot and sticky.

For Thursday July 20 in Alicante, there will be a very cloudy sky all over and some rainfall in the south and west of the province in towns like Salinas and Elda, while temperatures will ease off a bit from the extreme highs of recent days.

Friday July 21 will bring less cloud cover, and temperatures will range between 25 and 32ºC, a major drop from the temps in the high-30s that the Costa Blanca saw earlier in the week. It will also feel less hot thanks to a gentle easterly breeze.

On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 it will be cloudier and some storms are forecast for in northern towns like Pego and Alcoy, but for the most part it will be dry and temperatures are not expected to change significantly as we move into next week.
