For emergencies there is the A&E department in San Javier (Los Arcos hospital is just 15 minutes’ drive down the RM-1 motorway, which you can join 1km out of the resort, before you reach Sucina: Tel 968 570050)

The main hospital in Cartagena, the Santa Lucia, also has a 24 hour Emergency department, the central telephone number being: 968 12 86 00 as does the Virgen de la Arrixaca in Murcia.

The switchboard number for the Arrixaca is 968 369 500.
