ARCHIVED - Temperatures in Malaga set to rise throughout the week hitting 27 degrees on Friday May 7
Temperatures in Málaga, and along the Andalucian Mediterranean coastline, are expected to rise throughout the week, hitting 27 degrees on Friday, May 7, according to the State Meteorological Agency, Aemet.
A week after borders opened across Andalucia allowing visitors to travel to different provinces, Malaga is set to see rising temperatures until the weekend, following weeks of sporadic rainfall.
The director of Aemet in Malaga, Jose Maria Sanchez, said he expected good weather throughout the week, “with clear or slightly cloudy skies, until Saturday afternoon, when high-type clouds could appear.”
The expert added that a warm, dry wind will be behind the rise in temperatures across Malaga this week until an easterly wind causes figures to drop slightly from Saturday.
Some rainfall could arrive on Sunday, while temperatures for the day will depend on the level of cloud cover over the weekend.
