After a couple of stormy days last week, the weather has been gradually improving in Alicante province and it looks as though summer is finally set to arrive as May comes to a close. The week ahead promises to be bright and sunny for the most part with temperatures climbing day by day.

 

 

Monday will be bright and sunny with some late afternoon cloudy spells in the north of the province.

Day-time temperatures will remain in high-20s for the time being but Monday night will be a couple of degrees warmer than previous evenings.

 

 

Clear skies with a smattering of clouds in the north on Tuesday with temperatures ranging between 26ºC and 28ºC. The winds will be very light compared to last week.

 

 

Wednesday will again be mostly clear and sunny with some cloudy intervals inland during the afternoon.

Day-time temperatures will become noticeably warmer, inching into the 30s in several parts. The winds will be light overall but it could feel a bit breezy in coastal areas.

 

 

Completely cloudless skies are forecast on Thursday as the temperatures continue to climb, soaring to a summery 34ºC inland. Again, light breezes will feel far stronger along the central coast.

• Tuesday May 27: Min 15ºC; Max 28ºC
• Wednesday May 28: Min 16ºC; Max 31ºC
• Thursday May 29: Min 17ºC; Max 34ºC
