Torre Pacheco thieves ram bank window to steal ATM

The Guardia Civil in Torre Pacheco is investigating yet another ATM robbery that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, May 30.

According to official reports, the thieves targeted a bank branch in San Cayetano shortly after 3am.

Driving a large crane truck, the bold burglars rammed right through the glass front of the building and slammed the vehicle into the ATM machine, which was then hoisted into the back before a quick getaway.

Investigating officers are now using the scant evidence to try and track down the thieves.

A string of ATM robberies with a similar modus operandi have plagued the Camposol urbanisation over the years.
