Torrevieja Pipes and Drums

Bagpipes and drums for a real Highland touch to any event

Torrevieja Pipes & Drums was formed in 2007 by 2 of the existing pipers and 1 of the drummers(minus a drum).

Since their foundation numbers have grown considerably and the band now has  8 pipers and 6 drummers with other members who join them when they are here from the U.K.

The band are available to perform at local charity events and events which involve the expat community and are becoming increasingly well known, and are in great demand for Burns Suppers, St Patrick Days, St Andrew Days and New Year Eve events.

Many of the local towns on the Costa Blanca organize European Days and are delighted when the band agree to play for them, and the band also supports British Legion and armed forces events.

The band are also increasingly becoming part of Spanish events, participating in Spanish Fiestas  and festivals, and have been part of the re-enactment event in Murcia capital for the last 2 years, leading the parade.

The pipers and drummers live in various parts of the Murcia and Torrevieja region, and are a sociable and dedicated band of musicians, so if you are a piper or drummer and would like to join us, then please contact us.

The group meet every Monday and Wednesday from 10am until 12 noon at Hoggies Bar in Torrevieja.
