Where to find the Aguilas mobile recycling point

The Mobile Ecopark continues to travel around the municipality to promote recycling among the public

Where to find the Aguilas mobile recycling point
The ‘Mobile Ecopark’, the roaming recycling point in Águilas made out of a shipping container, continues to be moved around the town to make it easier for people to recycle a large amount of waste which cannot be deposited in the usual rubbish containers.

The Councillor for Cleaning in Águilas, Noelia Ruano, said, “It is a commitment of this government team to develop actions that serve to improve the environmental quality of our municipality, as well as to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of recycling.”

These are the locations of the ‘Ecoparque móvil’ recycling point in Águilas:

  • Mondays: in the urbanisation Los Jardines
  • Wednesdays: in the Las Lomas school
  • Fridays: in Calabardina, from 10am to 2pm.

The waste that can be deposited includes: batteries, car batteries, fluorescent bulbs, paper and cardboard, packaging, X-rays, mobile phones, computer equipment, household appliances, glass, tools, paint cans and domestic vegetable oils.
