Wind drops, but so do temperatures: Spain weather forecast January 12-15
Several new Atlantic fronts will bring more changeable weather to Spain this week

Average temperatures expected on Thursday January 15
Hot on the heels of storm Goretti, which forced the temperatures up over the weekend but also created some very blustery conditions, a couple of fresh Atlantic fronts are winging their way towards Spain this week. While the winds will vanish in much of southern Spain, the mercury is also expected to take a dip towards the end of the week.
Monday January 12

A low pressure system originating north of the British Isles will result in very cloudy or overcast skies in the northwest and far west of the country on Monday. Northern Spain can expect some heavy downpours but the rest of the country should remain dry.
After a warmer than usual weekend, daytime temperatures will climb once more in the Balearic Islands and along the eastern coasts. Monday night should also be very mild throughout the country.
Tuesday January 13

A new weather front, moving from west to east, will bring very cloudy or overcast skies and widespread precipitation to most parts, with the exception in the eastern third of the country and the Balearic Islands, where it’s expected to stay dry.
Both day and nighttime temperatures will drop everywhere but the Mediterranean.
Wednesday January 14

With the arrival of high pressure from the west, a gradual increase in stability is expected, with very cloudy skies at first, becoming partly cloudy by late afternoon across large areas of inland Spain.
Generally light rain is expected, easing during the afternoon. Rain will be less likely in the eastern third of the countryand is not expected at all along the eastern Mediterranean coast and the Balearic Islands.
Nighttime temperatures will dip along the western coast but Wednesday in general should be a little warmer than the previous day.
Thursday January 15

Yet another Atlantic front will move across the western half of the country on Thursday. As it passes from west to east, it will bring very cloudy or overcast skies and widespread rain, except in the far east and the Balearic Islands where it is unlikely.
Both day and nighttime temperatures will decrease across the board.
