ARCHIVED - Appointment-free vaccines in Mijas: September 13 to 17
The Andalucía regional government is trying to vaccinate as many residents as possible by offering walk-in vaccines
The Health authorities in Andalucía have organized appointment-free vaccines from Monday September 13, aimed at residents aged between 12 and 65 who aren’t currently in their primary residence or who have recently recovered from Covid.
Vaccines will be administered in the municipality of Mijas (Málaga) between 2pm and 8pm from Monday September 13 to Friday September 17.
Residents and visitors, including pregnant women who have not yet been vaccinated, can go to the Cortijo Don Elías de Las Laugunas vaccination centre in Mijas to receive their jab without making a prior appointment.
The region of Andalucía has also started administering third Covid doses to immunosuppressed patients this week.
According to the official regional update published on September 13, 86.1 per cent of the target population, those aged over 12, have received both doses (or one Janssen mono-dose), while 90.3 per cent have had at least one vaccine, for a total of 6,730,893.
A full list of all of the vaccination centres, along with dates and times, can be found on the Junta de Andalucía website.
