British woman cuts the throat of an Ibiza hotel manager

An urgent manhunt has been launched for a British woman accused of slitting an Ibiza hotel manager’s throat with a glass because of a dispute over the bar tab.

The vicious attack occurred in the popular Sant Antoni resort in Ibiza on Sunday July 9.

According to local reports, the attacker and her friends had been drinking for some time when a waitress brought them their bill. An argument erupted over the price and the manager stepped in to try to calm the drunk suspect down.

In the heat of the moment, the Briton threw a glass which severely slashed the 30-year-old hotel worker’s neck before fleeing the scene. Balearic Islands police have been searching for her ever since.

The hotel manager was rushed to the Nuestra Señora del Rosario medical centre where she immediately underwent surgery before suffering through another operation the following day.

Ibiza has been receiving a lot of bad press lately, largely due to the shameful behaviour of foreign tourists. Last week, a shocking video went viral on social media showing a young UK man tottering around a narrow ledge on the outside his hotel, several metres above the concrete courtyard.

Thankfully, in this instance, security guards were able to pull the idiotic holidaymaker to safety but just the day before, another British man wasn’t so lucky. The 35-year-old fell from the second floor balcony of his hotel in the San Antonio district shortly after 3am. Several witnesses saw the man standing on the apartment block balcony right before he plummeted to his death over the edge.
