December due to arrive in Murcia with spring-like temperatures: Weekend weather forecast Nov 28-Dec 1
It’s going to be another warm and sunny weekend in Murcia
This weekend, we say goodbye to November as we enter the final month of the year with temperatures that are more typical of the last weeks of spring than of winter.
According to the weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this weekend temperatures will reach a maximum of 25ºC in some parts of Murcia, while an anticyclonic weather formation will ensure that there is no rain.
Temperatures will rise over the course of the weekend, with highs of 20ºC in Lorca this Thursday November 28, 21ºC in Cartagena and 22ºC in Murcia city. Minimum temperatures will be around 11-14ºC.
Continuing this trend of rising temperatures, on Friday 29 it will reach 24ºC in Murcia, 23ºC in Lorca, Yecla and Caravaca de la Cruz, and 21ºC in coastal areas such as Cartagena and Mazarrón. As for the minimum temperatures, they will remain unchanged on Friday, at around 11-14ºC in Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca, and around 6-7ºC in Yecla and Caravaca.
Saturday, the last day of November, will wave goodbye with the hottest day of the week, when thermometers reach up to 25ºC in the capital of Murcia, 23ºC in Lorca, 22ºC in Cartagena and Yecla, and 21ºC in Caravaca. The minimum temperatures will also rise, by one or two degrees compared to the day before.
And so December begins on Sunday with spring-like highs, above 20ºC, although a little lower than on Saturday, while the minimum temperatures will remain unchanged.
It will be dry and sunny all weekend long, but looking ahead to next week there could be some showers on Tuesday and Wednesday.
