Donate toys to needy children this Christmas with La Torre Social Committee
The Christmas Box appeal for less fortunate children is now open
Every year, La Torre Social Committee organises a Christmas box appeal to provide toys for less fortunate children in the Murcia area.The La Torre Golf Resort Christmas box appeal has been running for years, and ensures that no child, regardless of their family's income, goes without a toy at Christmas.
Donations of toys in gift boxes are requested, and then the gifts are donated to Murcia Acoge, a local charity for less-fortunate children.
If you wish to take part, please contact Catherine Ward Queen on 0034 638 134 215 to be assigned a child's name, along with their age, so you can plan what to buy for your box accordingly.
The recommended amount to be spent on each box is around 15 euros, but you are welcome to spend more or less if you prefer.
The cut-off date for boxes to be handed in is Wednesday December 11.
